Samara, September-October, profusely borne, yellowish green, maturing to ash-brown. Persist into winter.

Green to reddish brown, older trunks gray-brown, ridged and furrowed

Disease / Insect Problems or Resistance:
Boxelder bug, striped maple worm, borers

Native Habitat:
U.S. and Southern Canada
