Boone County Arboretum appreciates having supporters across the entire country. But true supporters of public gardens would not purchase a membership to a garden located hours away that they never interact with, and then use that membership to gain free entry into their local gardens they do frequent. Doing so is dishonest and cheating the system. This abuse of our organization and the AHS reciprocal admission program will not be tolerated. Out of respect for our fellow public gardens across the nation, membership applications from people residing outside our region will be flagged, and ultimately rejected if there is no justifiable basis for the long-distance membership.

All levels not designated as "lifetime" are annual memberships, and are based on a calendar year beginning January 1 through December 31. Memberships started after September 1 will be valid through the end of the following year.
