Culture and Care:
Care Requirements - Not proven particularly hardy; easily rooted from cuttings. Transplants easily; tolerant of most soils except swampy wet conditions
Native Habitat - China. Introduced 1907
Diseases and Insects - Anthracnose, crown gall, leaf spots, powdery mildews aphids, thrips, and scales. Most Euonymus fortunei cultivars were removed from Boone County Arboretum due to recurrent scale infestation.
