Ornamental Characteristics:
Flower - Creamy yellow to light orange veined with red 0.33-0.50" long in May-June in pendulous umbel-like racemes from previous years growth.
Fruit - Dehiscent, 5-valved capsule, 0.75" long.
Leaf -
Fall Color - Brilliant yellow to orange and red
Bark - Slender 3 sided often reddish in youth becoming brown, glabrous.
Other Features - Excellent for flower and fall color. Nice specimen combines well with rhododendrons lovely around patio.

Care Requirements - Acid soil requires moisture in full sun or partial shade.
