The Arboretum On Wheels is a mobile environmental education unit we take to locations throughout the entire Tri-State. Our educator Samantha gives a quick virtual tour and introduction.

Hi everybody! My name is Sam, and I'm coming to you today from our Arboretum on Wheels, inside the Boone County Arboretum. Just gonna give you a little bit of a virtual tour of our Arboretum on Wheels, which is a mobile classroom unit inside a truck and trailer. We use this mobile classroom to go all over the Tri-State area, and we teach a variety of educational environmental programming to people of all ages, from pre-k all the way up to senior groups. We mainly focus on trees since we are in Arboretum, but we do delve into biology, ecology, other scientific disciplines as well.

Right now we are all virtual but once things relax a little bit, and we can get outside and out and about again, we will be taking bookings so make sure to check us out on the Boone County Arboretum Facebook page and reach out to us if you'd like to book us.
