- 7:30 am - Day-of registration and pre-race activities begin
- 9:00 am - 5K Race Starts
- 11:00 am - Arbor Day Festival starts, continues until 2:00.
NEW COURSE LAYOUT!
As this event has grown and participant numbers increased, we've had to make room for more vehicle parking. The start/finish line has been moved forward and the distance made up with a short switchback area. Participants will go through the switchback area shortly after starting, then repeat it in reverse just before finishing. Preview the new layout on this updated course map.
Dash Registration Open
Whether you are a first time participant or a seasoned 5K veteran, you are invited to the Boone County Arboretum on April 25, 2026 to take part in our annual Dogwood Dash 5K Run and Walk through the Arboretum. This fun event is held each April as the spring blooms are coming out of their long winter nap. Awards, door prizes, tree seedlings and refreshments provided to participants.

The Dogwood Dash Planning Committee will meet several times January to April, to plan and ensure the success of the event. If you would like to volunteer for the committee, contact Rebecca, Events and Volunteer Coordinator.
