Full Description
Bats don't only live in caves, they need healthy forests, too! Learn about the bats found in Boone County, why they're important to our ecosystem, and how you can use a free phone app to help the Boone County Conservation District collect acoustic bat data to monitor their populations. After a short presentation, BCCDKY staff will lead a walk around the Arboretum as we record echolocation calls of the bats flying around us.
FREE, but registration is required.
We will meet at 7 pm at Shelter One.
