Full Description
Bats don't just live in caves, they need healthy forests, too! Learn about the species of bats that can be found in Boone County, why they are an important part of our ecosystem, and how you can help the Boone County Conservation District collect acoustic bat data to help monitor their populations. After a short presentation, BCCDKY staff will lead a walk around the Arboretum as we record echolocation calls of the bats flying around us.
FREE, but registration is required.
We will meet at 7 pm at specific location Shelter One.
