Whether a first-time visitor who wants help becoming familiar with the sprawling 121 acres of the Boone County Arboretum, or a frequent user of the Arboretum trails looking for more information on our plants, everyone is invited to attend one of our scheduled plant color/ ID walks, typically offered seasonally: spring, summer and fall (full event listing here). We will discuss the characteristics of the tree and shrub species we encounter during the ~1.5 mile walk, for around 1.5-2 hours. Wear comfortable shoes and be dressed for the weather.
