Flower and Fruit Details
Flowers are yellow, 0.5" diameter, usually 3 together on drooping pedicels, 0.75" long. Fruits are thick, densely pubescent samaras, 1-2" long. The upright wings curve inward or spread at right angles.

Yellow, red to purple fall color. Bark is smooth gray to grayish brown.
Culture and Care
Prefers well-drained, loamy, moist, slightly acid soil, full sun. No serious disease or insect problems.
