Japanese Persimmon
A small tree w/ large, edible fruits & showy fall color, but not very cold-hardy, so it may be damaged by harsh Zone 6 winters.

Common Persimmon
A native, medium-sized, deciduous tree that adapts well to soil & weather extremes, producing an edible fruit on female trees.
