-- not currently in our collection --Koelreuteria paniculata 'Gocanzam' // Golden Candle™ Goldenraintree
Tree. A densely-branched, extremely narrow, upright-columnar version of the Goldenraintree, with small, pinnately compound leaves that change from green to golden yellow in the fall. Size: 35' tall and only 4-5' wide. Perfect for tight spaces. Its tolerance of drought and heat, plus its adaptability to most soil types, makes it a good choice for urban landscapes. Showy yellow flowers in early-mid summer. Furrowed silver bark. Good as an accent plant and as a shade tree in a narrow space. Leaves often smaller than the species. Any necessary pruning can be done in March, while the plant is still dormant. Blooms on the new wood.
