Chinese Sweetgum
An uncommon, deciduous tree that makes a good shade tree, w/ reddish-maroon new leaves in spring, changing to green, then burgundy in the fall.

American Sweetgum
A large, adaptable, deciduous tree w/ mace-like, "gum-ball" fruits & excellent fall color.
