Flower and Fruit Details
Flowers are 4-parted, diocecious, male in short racemes from axils of previous season's wood. Fruits are brown, 0.75" diameter carpels, usually four together, each carpel containing a single round and black seed.

Soft yellow fall color.
Culture and Care
Performs best in well-drained, acid, organic-laden soil in partial shade. Zones 5-7.
