Prunus glandulosa 'Alba' // Dwarf White Flowering Almond
Shrub. Grows to 4-5' tall and 3-4' wide, a spreading, weakly multi-stemmed, straggly shrub, chief value is in the flower. Pure white, single flowers, late April to early May. Fruits are dark pink-red, 0.5" across and rarely produced. Roots easily from cuttings. Zones 4-8. Native to Central and northern China, Japan. Introduced 1835.

Shrub. Grows to 4-5' tall and 3-4' wide, a spreading, weakly multi-stemmed, straggly shrub, chief value is in the flower. Pink, double flowers, 0.5" across, late April to early May. Fruits are dark pink-red, 0.5" across and rarely produced. Roots easily from cuttings. Zones 4-8. Native to Central and northern China, Japan. Introduced 1835.
