Native Range

Cultivated in Japan, introduced before 1868.

Flower and Fruit Details

Flowers are pure white, occurring in late June to early July on new wood.

Culture and Care

Requires acid soil for best growth. Roots readily from cuttings. Zones 4-8.

White flowers are particularly handsome, framed by rich green leaves.
