Spiraea x vanhouttei 'Renaissance' // Renaissance Vanhoutte Spirea
Shrub. Grows to 6-8' tall and 10-12' wide, vase-shaped with arching branches flowing to the ground. Moderate to fast growth rate. Abundant white flowers, each 0.33" across in 1-2" flower clusters, April-May, showy. Fruits are dry, brown follicles which persist through winter. Smooth bark. Fall color is non-existent or overcast of purple or red coloring, not reliable. Prefers well-drained soil in full sun to light shade. Very hardy.
