Syringa x hyacinthiflora 'Assessippi' // Assessippi Early Flowering Lilac
Shrub. Grows to 12' tall and wide. Single pale lavender flowers, profuse and fragrant. Blooms early in the lilac season. Easy to grow, plant in full sun to light shade. Zones 3-7.

Shrub. Grows to 10-12' tall and wide. Deep maroon-purple buds open to deep violet, single florets, fragrant. Flowers much earlier than Common Lilac. Leaves may turn reddish-purple in fall. Extremely cold hardy, Zones 3-7.
