Ziziphus jujuba 'Lang' // Lang Chinese Date
Tree. Grows to 15-20' tall. Small flowers, yellowish, 0.25" diameter, fragrant (like grape soda), occurring 2-3 together from the leaf axils of current season's growth. Species will grow in any well-drained soil, including acid, alkaline, and droughty. Fruits are pear-shaped, edible, 1.5 to 2" long, precocious. Leaves may turn a good yellow in fall. Species introduced to trade about 1640.

Tree. Grows to 15-20' tall. Small flowers, yellowish, 0.25" diameter, fragrant (like grape soda), occurring 2-3 together from the leaf axils of current season's growth. Species will grow in any well-drained soil, including acid, alkaline, and droughty. Fruits are rounded, 2" long, edible. Leaves may turn a good yellow in fall. Species introduced to trade about 1640.

Leaves may turn a good yellow in fall. Species introduced to trade about 1640.
