Boone County Arboretum is an official trial site for Robinson Nursery’s proprietary plant releases, being grown and evaluated under real-life Kentucky climate conditions, with Arboretum staff monitoring traits like growth habit, hardiness, transplant success, disease resistance, and aesthetic performance over multiple seasons. Insights from these trials support Robinson in refining selections for market readiness, while bolstering the Arboretum’s role in advancing regional horticultural innovation.
