Pinus strobus x ayacahuite 'Domingo' // Domingo Hybrid White Pine
Tree. Moderate growth rate to 25' tall, with an irregular-pyramidal habit. Has some traits resembling the Eastern White Pine and the Mexican White Pine, since these plants are involved in the parentage of this hybrid. Bluish needles in bundles of 5. Tufted branches at tips. Longer needles and cones than the Limber Pine. Shaggy gray bark as it ages. Needs acid soil & sun to light shade. Tolerates some clay, drought/heat. Holds up well to winter's cold. Zone 4-7.
