A unique, shrubby evergreen tree for use in small spaces or bonsai.

Fast growing pine tree, similar Eastern White Pine, with long, resinous cones.

Pinus bungeana

Lacebark Pine
Excellent evergreen tree with showy, exfoliating bark. Becomes picturesque with age.

Pinus densiflora

Japanese Red Pine
Large pine tree with an irregular, leaning habit and showy reddish-brown bark.

Pinus densiflora x sylvestris

Hybrid Pine (Japanese Red Pine x Scotch Pine)
A hybrid of Japanese Red Pine and Scotch Pine featuring flaky orange bark as it ages.

Pinus flexilis

Limber Pine
Bluish-green evergreen tree that holds up well to winter's cold. Young branches are tough and very flexible.

Pinus heldreichii

Bosnian pine
A beautiful evergreen, resembling Austrian Pine. Extremely long-lived, with some specimens in its native range reportedly upwards of 1,000 years old.

Pinus koraiensis

Korean Pine
A beautiful evergreen tree, cold-hardy and very adaptable to site conditions.

Pinus mugo

Mugo Pine, Swiss Mountain Pine, European Mountain Pine, Dwarf Mountain Pine
This pine species is highly variable in shape and size, from a sprawling shrub to an 80' tree, depending on the variety selected.

Pinus nigra

Austrian Pine
A dark green, very hardy pine tree. However, not recommended because of severe problems with Diplodia Tip Blight fungus.

An excellent, picturesque, evergreen tree with bluish-green foliage.

Medium-sized evergreen tree, with a narrow-pyramidal to columnar shape.

Pitch Pine
A tough evergreen tree suited to poor soils and tough sites.

Eastern White Pine
A tall, fast-growing evergreen tree with long, soft needles. Susceptible to many problems in unfavorable sites.

A very fast-growing, long-needle pine native to the Southeastern U.S.

A medium-height evergreen tree that tolerates clay soils and drought, KY native.

Himalayan Pine
A beautiful, specimen evergreen tree to 50' tall where soils are acid, organic and well-drained, and where wind and cold are not severe.
