Ornamental Characteristics:
Flower - Dioecious, staminate flowers yellow-brown to orange-yellow, start to show color and shed pollen in March. Pistillate flowers greenish. Trees with flowers of both sexes occasionally occur.
Fruit - Cones with a recurved stalk, globose, 0.5-0.6" across, initially grayish green, finally glossy light green.
